Valentina Vinokur and her family relocated to the United States from the Ukraine in 1991. Tina and her husband of 23 years were employed in advanced technical careers bringing those highly transferable skills to this country to seek a great opportunity for themselves and their 22 year old son. Tina has a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering and a Bachelor of Science focused on technical studies related to electrical and electronic engineering. With all of her technical expertise and education, Tina is most passionate about people and providing service. She used her technical knowledge to become certified as a Dental Hygienist and has enjoyed the personal approach with people and patients for the past 11 years in that capacity. Tina gives back to the community as a volunteer. Having come here under refugee status, she is compassionate and assisted other Eastern European immigrants doing social work for the elderly and teaching English as a second language. She became involved in the Real Estate Industry as an investor buying a duplex in Northeast Philadelphia in 2003 which appreciated in value driving enough tenant income to cover the mortgage. This positive experience caused Tina to realize that the real estate profession would allow her the opportunity to express herself, interact with and help people while still being flexible so she could take care of her second son Eric, then in Kindergarten. Tina got her Real Estate license in 2004, beginning an exciting new phase of her career; a culmination of the technical and interpersonal passions she honed her entire professional life. Tina’s personal approach and ability to communicate with people on their level with honesty is what sets her apart. She has a perfectionist mentality with a keen eye for detail and demands complete knowledge of what she is doing so her clients are able to make an informed decision. Her goal is to establish trusting relationships so people will ask for her and refer her over again and over again.
